A defined strategy based on established objectives is essential to the success of every project. Before beginning any new initiative, I research what, if anything, the client has done before. I consider how various factors can affect the outcome of a proposed strategy, making adjustments as new conditions arise. Critical thinking and flexibility are the key ingredients for success.
I have more than 20 years of professional experience in a variety of industries, including insurance, banking, health communications, entertainment management and art. I have worked with organizations of various sizes, from sole proprietorships to major corporations on a wide range of projects. I have edited a magazine and multiple newsletters, written and produced an e-newsletter, managed a health and wellness website, written many brochures and other publications, managed social media programs, planned events and I’ve even helped to launch an iPhone app.
Throughout my career, I have won more than 90 local, national and international communications awards.
I believe in giving back to the community, and I’ve used my skills to help promote local non-profits, serving as vice president of communications for Sowebo Arts, Inc. and the Ridgely's Delight Association for many years.
